The rules that
power FixedCoin.
FixedCoin uses open, verifiable rules for supply, mining rewards and difficulty adjustment.
| Network rule | Current parameterFixedCoin mainnet |
|---|---|
| Supply limit | 21,000 FIX |
| Difficulty adjustment | ASERT · every block |
| Halving interval | 52,560 blocks |
| Current block subsidy | 0.10466639 FIX |
| Target block interval | 600 seconds |
The supply limit is not the circulating supply. Coins are issued progressively through proof-of-work mining.
02 / ASERT
Responsive difficulty.
Adjustment every block.
ASERT adjusts difficulty after every block, using a 24-hour half-life and a 600-second target interval.
The half-life controls how quickly difficulty responds. It is not a waiting period between adjustments. Actual block times vary with mining conditions.

A predictable schedule.
The current subsidy is 0.10466639 FIX per block. Each halving divides the subsidy by two, rounding down to whole satoshis.
0.05233319 FIX / block
0.02616659 FIX / block
Subsidies exclude transaction fees. The maximum supply is 21,000 FIX, and unclaimed rewards are not reissued.
04 / SUPPLY TRANSPARENCY
A limit.
Not a balance.
21,000 FIX is the network limit. It does not describe coins already issued or circulating. Issuance, spendable funds and circulating supply are different quantities.
The historical frozen output
One output of 1,604.85615714 FIX, created at block 627, has been frozen by consensus since block 628. Other outputs at the same address are not automatically frozen.
The output remains in the UTXO set but cannot be spent. It must not be counted as spendable funds or automatically described as destroyed.
View the frozen transaction ↗Genesis and the first block
The genesis coinbase records 1 FIX but its output is not spendable. Block 1 had a special 1,600 FIX subsidy. The frozen output is a separate historical event.
Core network constants
The genesis block, address formats, transaction format and historical frozen-output rule are part of FixedCoin’s consensus history.
